Infiniti Consulting Group in Folsom, Calif., will provide cloud services to the California Community College Technology Center (CCCTC) through a five-year, $5 million contract selected through a competitive bid process.

Under the agreement finalized this summer, Infiniti Consulting will develop for CCCTC a new cloud architecture based on Amazon Web Services (AWS), implement a DevOps environment where the technology center can test and deploy applications, and migrate the organization's legacy RackSpace environment to AWS.

The CCCTC manages a systemwide IT platform and provides shared technology and software applications to help support all 113 California Community Colleges and their nearly 3 million students each year. The center is located at Butte College in Northern California.

"We're pleased to select Infiniti as our cloud services partner to help with the important work of implementing a more flexible, scalable, effficient and secure cloud-based services architecture," said Tim Calhoun, executive director of the CCCTC. "We went through a rigorous public RFP process and the Infiniti/AWS bid was the strongest."

"Infiniti is excited to be selected for this important work," said Infiniti President Scott Drossos. "The CCCTC is the largest higher-ed system of schools in the world and has quickly emerged as one of California's most progressive government agencies. They are leading the way with their cloud approach."

Founded in 2004 in the Sacramento area, Infiniti Consulting has worked on projects for the California State Teachers Retirement System (CalSTRS), Caltrans, the State Treasurer's Office and other state government customers.
